In this age of healthy eating and staying fit, we are all working hard to do the right thing. If that means being on a diet, we are quick to jump on a diet program, even though being on a diet is probably one of the hardest things to do. Often we manage to get off to a great start with a new diet, but after a while fall back into our old eating habits. So, why is it so hard to stay on a diet? Most probably because the food on our new diet plate is not to our liking.
At Amithi, our philosophy is based on the adult-learning principle which states that unlike children who are like a clean slate and readily absorb what they are taught; adults learn only if you build upon what they already know. Our program concentrates on your existing plate, to educate you on the nutritional aspects of what is currently on your plate and what you can add or eliminate comfortably.
Our nutritionists conduct informal seminars in conjunction with our art or exercise programs. Please contact us to find out more about our nutritional programs.
